Will this tool tie barb wire?
No, the double strands of wire are too large for the designed application of these tools.
Why should I need the larger tool when I can use the smaller tool for more applications?
The center bore in the nose cone is designed specifically for the gauge of wire the tool is going to tie. The W Twist Master’s center bore in the nose cone will accommodate 10 gauge that is used for the top and bottom wire of some brands of no climb wire.
The W Twist Master Commercial’s nose cone is designed specifically for 12.5 Gauge wire. Also the more robust design of the commercial unit will endure the higher pressure that is required to tie hi tensile wire.
What kind of drill do I use?
We recommend using a standard cordless drill with variable speed controls. . Do not use an impact driver.
What speed do I operate the tool?
Always operate the tool at a slow safe speed. Operating at an unsafe speed can increase the risk of damage to equipment and injury to individuals
